Answering calls is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of VA services.
We offer this service in partnership with Answer.co.uk. We can set up and manage the whole call answering process for you if you prefer, or you can take direct control yourself – whichever works for you. Because we’re your VA you can add us to your staff list or forward messages on to us for action, for example:
- Sending information to clients
- Booking appointments in your diary
- Make travel arrangements
- Take order information or requests for quotations
- Make calls on your behalf
How does telephone answering work?
Answer set up a dedicated number for you to forward your calls onto – most people set it up after a certain number of rings. The team answer the call in your name and take it from there – taking details and passing on messages via email, text or both.
You don’t have to use our extended range of VA services to have a virtual receptionist, but we think you’ll be missing out on some of the best bits. For many new customers though, telephone answering is a useful introduction to the range of services we offer.
It will take about 30 minutes to get you all set up with a forwarding number and call handling protocol and then you can worry about one less thing.
The fee structure is simple – call answering is charged at £1 per call. Our time is charged on a flat pay-as-you-go rate of £25/hr – you only pay for the time you use.
Unfortunately it is not possible to transfer or connect calls to either your landline or mobile at this time.
